“The Truth About Twinkie Pie” by Kat Yeh. (Book Review)
A big thanks to our favorite “tween” reviewer, the smart and beautiful Katina Coyle, for her great review of “The Truth About Twinkie Pie”!
Here is Katina’s review:
The Truth About Twinkie Pie is about a girl named GiGi and her older sister named DiDi. They just moved to NY and they live without their mother and father. Her mother “died” and her father left them. Gigi goes to a new school and on the first day trips over a boy named Trip. They have some hard times and need them to get through it.
I loved this book, and it was very action packed. But I thought the beginning was a little slow, and didn’t have a lot going on, but the action picked up and got exciting! My favorite part of this book was when she sets off to find her mom with her enemy.
I would recommend this book to any girl that likes adventures and secrets!!! I hope you will like this book as much as I did!!
