Book Review: Minnie’s Winter Bow Show | Diapers & Daydreams

Based on a special winter episode of Disney Junior’s “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse”, “Minnie’s Winter Bow Show” follows Mickey and the gang as they prepare for the event of the season, Minnie’s Winter Bow Show! Everything is going as planned until Minnie’s two troublemaker nieces arrive and take off in the clubhouse’s hot air balloon! Minnie jumps on board and the three are taken on a voyage through a winter wonderland, complete with sledding, snow fairies and baby yetis. It is obvious the authors of this book are attempting to jam the entire storyline of their tv program into this story, as every two pages bring Minnie to a new adventure, making the story seem busy with abrupt plot changes. But, since you aren’t reading this book with hopes it will become children’s novel of the year, just sit back and enjoy the twists and turns. Your child will find this book to be very exciting and fun! The story is fast-paced, light-hearted, and full of twists and turns, as we wait to see if Minnie can make it back in time for her Bow Show! Children 3-5 years will enjoy having this story read to them. This book also includes two pages of sparkly winter-themed stickers, which your child is sure to enjoy putting to use on their next snow day!
